I like the body movement, it looks pretty natural as he's stepping back. And the camera being bumped by the weight of the sword is a nice touch too. Only thing I see is that I'm not really seeing the weight of the sword in the character. I'd say the simplest thing I'd do would be when the sword comes down on his shoulder, compress his body a bit by arching his back and bending his knees on the impact with a little over shoot and have him slowly move back up to his standing position. Nice work otherwise though, I know you had it pretty rough. Especially with having to start over on the keyframes.
Looks better than last work we've seen before. I like your idea and movement. Only part I can see is about knee. When the sword comes down on his shoulder, what about bend his knee more? In my thinking, when he lifts the sword if his knee and abdomen goes near the sword we could feel how the sword heavy. But most of keyframes were good. Nice work.
I have to say that the motion is good but your balance is a bit off. Basically think of contrapasto and how the hips and shoulders level out. I guess just think about how his spine would lineup to absorb the impact of all that weight and once you discover that then you can animate the hips and shoulders. because currently he feels not too realistic because in some of those keys he looks really off balance. (hey my offer to swing around a giant board is still on ^_- )
I realy realy realy like the camera shake at the end. it realy gives a nice sence of the weight but i think that the movement of the swaord being lifted up and then falling into his shoulder should beone fluid motion instead of having that pause
i think the body movement you have with the character is good. i like the strain the character has right before he pulls up the sword. the camera movement is a nice touch to convey weight. i still don't feel the weight of the sword. it just doesn't feel heavy enough. maybe you could add more strain in the character to convey that.
I think the hands and the sword feel better. I would move the legs more underneath the figures body though to compensate for the weight. They seem to far out for him not to topple over. I think your definitely headed in the right direction though.
